Dear Homeowners:
You will soon receive notice of the Annual Meeting of the Members of The Lakes of South Shore Harbour Community Association, Inc., scheduled for 7/8/2025, at The Watershed Church, 1751 E League City Pkwy, League City, Texas 77573. An Annual Meeting packet containing formal notice of this meeting will be mailed to all owners at a later date.
The meeting will be held for the following purposes:
To elect 2 Board Member(s).
To transact any other properly presented business.
During the Annual Meeting, the owners will elect 2 member(s) to the Board. In anticipation of the Annual Meeting, the current Board would like to extend to you the opportunity to nominate yourself for election to the Board. Nominations are open to any owner.
We encourage your participation in the Association. As you know, the Association has many important functions, including maintenance of common areas and landscaping, budgeting for current and future expenses, communicating with owners, and managing and collecting assessments.
The qualifications for serving on the Board are:
- An interest in serving the community where you live.
- A commitment to uphold the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) of the Association.
- The ability to listen and make informed decisions, as well as being able to communicate with other homeowners.
- A commitment to attend regularly scheduled Board meetings, as well as the additional time that may be required in order to participate at committee level.
- All candidates must be confirmed owners of a unit in the Association or must otherwise qualify as a candidate based on the Association's governing documents, which may allow someone who is a representative of an owner to be elected to a Board.
